一、車輛使用前、中、后，要及時地清除車體上的灰塵，盡量減少車身靜電對灰塵的吸附；

二、擦洗車輛要用干凈、柔軟的擦布或海綿，防止混入金屬屑和沙粒，勿用干布、干毛巾、干海綿擦車，以免留下劃痕。擦拭時，應順著水流的方向自上而下輕輕地擦拭，不應畫圈和橫向擦拭。

四、雨后及時沖洗。雨后車身上的雨漬會逐漸縮小，使雨水酸性物質的濃度逐漸增大，如果不盡快用清水沖洗雨漬久而久之就會損害面漆。

五、洗車時，應待發動機冷卻后進行，不要在烈日或高溫下清洗車輛，以免洗潔劑被烘干而留下痕跡。平常自己動手沖洗車輛要用專用洗滌劑和中性活水，不應使用堿性大的洗衣粉、肥皂水和洗滌靈，以防洗掉漆面中的油脂，加速漆面老化。
