There are many reasons for the high fuel consumption of the engine. Generally speaking, when the power of the engine is insufficient or black smoke is emitted, the fuel consumption of most engines is too high in this case. This problem should not be ignored when troubleshooting. As for the troubleshooting of high fuel consumption, the following steps can be roughly followed.

1、外部檢查。仔細詢問駕駛員故障的現象，發生的時間、情況、大體判斷故障的部位是機械系統的問題還是電控系統的問題。同時也可用故障診斷儀調取故障碼。若有故障碼，按故障碼所指示的內容先進行排除；若無故障碼，可先進行基本檢查。在進行檢查之前，先進行外部檢查、這方面包括兩個內容。

1. External inspection. Carefully ask the driver about the fault phenomenon, time and situation, and generally judge whether the fault is the problem of mechanical system or electronic control system. At the same time, the fault diagnosis instrument can also be used to call the fault code. If there is a fault code, eliminate it first according to the contents indicated by the fault code; If there is no fault code, conduct basic inspection first. Before inspection, conduct external inspection. This includes two contents.

1)檢查各傳感器接頭是否脫落。打開機罩，逐個檢查各傳感器的接頭是否松脫、斷裂，用手輕輕扳動，并插好傳感器，對于灰塵較多的傳感器應清理于凈，以免影響信號的傳送效果。

1) Check whether each sensor connector falls off. Open the hood, check whether the connectors of each sensor are loose and broken one by one, gently pull it by hand, and plug in the sensors. Clean the sensors with more dust to avoid affecting the signal transmission effect.

2)檢查管接頭是否破損脫落。檢查進氣系統管道是否破裂漏氣，接頭是否松落，進油管道、接頭是否漏油，發現漏油、漏氣的地方應進行處理，及時清潔和更換空氣濾清器濾芯。

2) Check whether the pipe joint is damaged or fallen off. Check whether the air inlet system pipe is broken and leaking, whether the joint is loose, and whether the oil inlet pipe and joint are leaking. If any, deal with it, and clean and replace the air filter element in time.

1)檢查燃油系統壓力。若壓力過高，應檢查燃油壓力調節器是否正常，濾網是否堵塞，汽油濾清器是否堵塞。

1) Check the fuel system pressure. If the pressure is too high, check whether the fuel pressure regulator is normal, whether the filter screen is blocked and whether the gasoline filter is blocked.

2)檢查火花塞、高壓線。查看火花塞電極燒蝕是否嚴重，若嚴重應及時更換；同時，檢查高壓線有否漏電現象，如有應及時更換。火花塞燒蝕和高壓線絕緣被擊穿漏電后，易造成點火能量不足，導致混合氣燃燒質量下降、功率不足、油耗過高等問題。

2) Check the spark plug and high-voltage wire. Check whether the electrode ablation of spark plug is serious. If it is serious, replace it in time; At the same time, check whether the high-voltage line has leakage, and if so, replace it in time. After the ablation of spark plug and the breakdown and leakage of high-voltage wire insulation, it is easy to cause insufficient ignition energy, resulting in the decline of mixture combustion quality, insufficient power and high fuel consumption.

3)檢查噴油器。噴油器損壞或堵塞時會產生怠速缺缸、加速無力、排氣管放炮，加速時有聳車的現象或供油不足的感覺；造成油耗過高。

3) Check the fuel injector. When the fuel injector is damaged or blocked, there will be idling cylinder shortage, weak acceleration, exhaust pipe shooting, vehicle shrugging or insufficient oil supply during acceleration; The fuel consumption is too high.

噴油器的檢查，可拔下噴油器連接電腦的插頭，用萬用表測量各插腳的電壓值，此值應為蓄電池的電壓值，否則視為電磁線圈斷路；測量各個噴油器兩插腳之間的電阻值，若為0則表示短路。

For the inspection of fuel injector, unplug the plug connecting the fuel injector to the computer, and measure the voltage value of each pin with a multimeter. This value should be the voltage value of the battery, otherwise it will be regarded as an open circuit of the solenoid coil; Measure the resistance between the two pins of each fuel injector. If it is 0, it indicates a short circuit.
