　　冷卻水溫度太低--磨損發動機

　　天氣炎熱的時候，有的司機為了防止發動機溫度過高，一味要求冷卻水溫度盡可能的低；有的司機為了達到降溫的目的，干脆把節溫器拆去，這些做法都是不對的。

　　汽車發動機既怕熱又怕冷，如果冷卻水溫度過低，會使燃油燃燒惡化，油耗增加，加劇磨損，機油黏度增加，發動機功率降低。試驗表明，汽車行駛時冷卻水溫度為40-50攝氏度時，發動機磨損增加60%-80%，功率降低25%，油耗增多8%-10%。因此，發動機冷卻水的溫度并非越低越好，一般應控制在80-90攝氏度之間。
